Program Director
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Public Administration, Business Administration, Special Education, or related field.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience, ideally working with families and community/state agencies.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Financial Management: Budgeting, fund raising, grant writing.
- Personnel Management: Supervision, recruitment, training.
- Contract Negotiation: Ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
- Behavioral Programming: Understanding of interventions and treatments.
- Child Development: Knowledge of developmental disabilities and interventions.
- Public Relations: Ability to maintain positive community relations.
- Policy Compliance: Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Technology: Proficiency in Windows Environment, Intranet, Internet technologies, and office software.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with reimbursement of services via contractual agreements.
- Knowledge/experience in evidence-based treatments for disabilities.
