Program Director

  1. Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Public Administration, Business Administration, Special Education, or related field.
    • Minimum three years of relevant experience, ideally working with families and community/state agencies.
  2. Skills and Abilities:
    • Financial Management: Budgeting, fund raising, grant writing.
    • Personnel Management: Supervision, recruitment, training.
    • Contract Negotiation: Ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
    • Behavioral Programming: Understanding of interventions and treatments.
    • Child Development: Knowledge of developmental disabilities and interventions.
    • Public Relations: Ability to maintain positive community relations.
    • Policy Compliance: Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
    • Technology: Proficiency in Windows Environment, Intranet, Internet technologies, and office software.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with reimbursement of services via contractual agreements.
  • Knowledge/experience in evidence-based treatments for disabilities.
